The Glencoe Business & Industrial Park is a municipally owned industrial development located in the community of Glencoe, Ontario within the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex. Strategically located in Southwestern Ontario with convenient access to Highway 401 and Highway 402, the park offers excellent opportunities for industrial, manufacturing, agri-business, warehousing, and commercial employment growth.
The Municipality is currently undertaking the Glencoe Business & Industrial Park Servicing Project, a major infrastructure investment that will create approximately 44.6 acres of fully serviced, development-ready industrial land.
Project Status
Construction is currently underway and includes the installation of:
- Municipal water infrastructure
- Sanitary sewer infrastructure
- Stormwater management systems
- New roadway infrastructure
- Utility servicing including hydro, natural gas, and telecommunications
The project is designed to support long-term economic growth and position Southwest Middlesex as a competitive location for business investment and expansion.

Project Funding
The project is being delivered through a collaborative funding partnership between the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, the County of Middlesex, and the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF)
Funding Sources
- 50% Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) Grant Funding - approximately $1.375 million
- 25% County of Middlesex Interest-Free Loan - approximately $751,000
- 25% Municipal Contribution / Financing - approximately $751,000
This partnership-based funding approach has allowed the Municipality to advance a transformational economic development initiative while maintaining a financially responsible approach to infrastructure investment.
