Sidewalk Construction Notice – Glencoe
The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex will be undertaking sidewalk replacement work at various locations throughout Glencoe beginning April 13, 2026, with an expected completion date of May 4, 2026.
This project involves removing existing sidewalks and installing new concrete sidewalks that meet current accessibility standards and enhance pedestrian safety.
Residents may experience temporary impacts during construction, including limited street access, parking restrictions, and potential driveway disruptions. Mail delivery and waste collection will continue, with accommodations made where needed. Some vibration from construction equipment is expected, and residents are encouraged to secure any sensitive items.
Any affected lawns and boulevards will be restored following construction.
