Planning Applications

  • 205 Church Street, Wardsville - a consent application is approved with conditions which adds a small strip of land to the property from neighboring 207 Church Street, Wardsville.
  • 6422 Gentleman Drive - a consent application is approved with conditions which severs a surplus farm dwelling from an agricultural piece of land.

Part-Time Fire Chief

Gary Johnston has accepted the position of part-time Fire Chief with the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.  Gary will excel and assist the Southwest Middlesex Administration in providing efficiency and optimal service and safety to the residents of Southwest Middlesex.

Gary brings with him 24 years as a Firefighter/ Emergency Responder within Middlesex County. He worked as both the District Deputy Chief, Glencoe Station, and Southwest Middlesex Fire Captains roles leading up to this promotion.  Please join us in welcoming Fire Chief Gary Johnston to his new role with the Southwest Middlesex Team.
