The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed extension of Tower Avenue in the community of Glencoe to service lands within the future Glencoe Industrial Park.
The project proposes extending Tower Avenue approximately 340 meters from Industrial Road, including the construction of a municipal road, watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and a stormwater management facility to support future industrial development. The lands within the project area are owned by the Municipality.
The study followed the Municipal Class EA Schedule B process, and the screening process determined that any potential environmental impacts can be mitigated.
The Project File Report, which documents the planning process and supporting studies, is available for public review and is attached to this notice.
Members of the public are invited to review the report and provide written comments to the project team by April 12, 2026. The full notice and contact information for submitting comments and details on the review process are included in the attached notice of study competition.
