The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex and the Glencoe District Lions Club are proud to officially launch the Project 2000 Revitalization Campaign. A community-driven initiative focused on upgrading and refreshing the Project 2000 pavilion and washroom facilities.
Originally constructed through community fundraising efforts led by the Glencoe District Lions Club in 2000, the facility has served residents, visitors, tournaments, and community events for more than 25 years. The revitalization project will improve accessibility, functionality, and the overall appearance of the facility ahead of a busy summer season and future regional sporting events expected to bring thousands of visitors to the community each year.
Planned improvements include accessible washroom upgrades, touchless fixtures, new entrance doors, painting, repairs, and overall beautification of the facility.
The Glencoe District Lions Club has committed a lead contribution of $20,000 toward the project, and community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to support the campaign through donations and sponsorship opportunities.
