The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex will soon commence a road resurfacing project in designated areas. This letter provides details about the project with important information on how the project may impact you.
Project Details
Location: Middlemiss Avenue between Melbourne Road and End of Pavement
Graham Street between Victoria Street and King Street
King Street between Graham Street and South Street
Randolph Street between Symes Street and McKellar Street
North Street between Main Street and Currie Street
Symes Street between Walker Street and Main Street
Schedule: Tentative start date – September 21, 2026 (Weather Permitting)
Estimated completion – September 25, 2026
Scope: Micro Surface application to the entire road surface
Contractor: Duncor Enterprises Inc.
How will Construction Impact You?
Road Access: All roads will have restrictions during resurfacing, only allowing local traffic to access their properties. The contractor will work with impacted properties as it relates to driveway impacts and access to property.
Vibration – Protect Valuables: Construction equipment can cause vibrations. Please ensure you protect any valuables susceptible to damage.
Mail Services: Canada post will continue to deliver mail during construction.
Garbage and Recycling Collection: If your pick-up point is temporarily blocked by construction the Municipality & contractor will assist in collecting and transporting your garbage and recycling.
