Water Billing
Southwest Middlesex water
meters are read about the 15th of every other month. Bills are
due on the 30th of the next month.
Water
rates for Southwest Middlesex Utilities customers:
Minimum
charge applies to each residential/commercial unit located on said property.
Residential and Commercial rates are:
- $35.00 base rate.
- $1.73 per cubic metre
($0.78636364 per hundred gallons) consumed.
(One cubic metre is approximately 220 gallons).
Sewer Billing

Glencoe sanitary sewer
system bills are included with the water bills. Base rate is $7.00
plus $0.779 for each cubic metre of water consumed ($0.354091 per hundred
gallons).

Wardsville
sanitary sewer system fees $312.00 annually per
equivalent residence and are collected in four equal installments on
the property tax bill.
Utility Payments
Southwest Middlesex Utility invoices may be
paid by:
· Automatic
withdrawal from your bank account. Applications are available at the
municipal office or

· Electronic
banking by phone or internet from your home through CIBC, Bank of Montreal,
Royal Bank, Scotia Bank and most Ontario credit unions..
· In
person at CIBC in Glencoe, Royal Bank in Melbourne, Thamesville Credit Union
in Wardsville.
·
Cheque payable
to “Southwest Middlesex Utilities” in person, by mail to Box 218 Glencoe, ON
N0L 1M0, or office drop box--please remember to include the appropriate
utility stub(s) with your payment.

Cash (in
person only please).
A service charge of $30.00 will be applied to
the
account for which any payment is returned from the bank for any reason.

Termination of Service
If
you are moving, or intend to
demolish a residential/commercial building, please contact the water billing
department at 287-2015 to make arrangements for a final meter reading or
removal of the meter.
Southwest
Middlesex requires at least 48 hours notice for all final
reads/disconnections. |
