The Ontario Provincial Police are responsible
for policing services in Southwest Middlesex. General Inquiries that are not
emergency situations should be directed to 1-888-310-1122 which is the 24
Hour Communications Centre for all of Ontario. There is an office in Glencoe
at 157 Water Street, which is predominantly for officers to attend to
complete any necessary paperwork.
We also are home to one of the areas
ambulance stations which is owned by Thames Valley Ambulance Services. Their
main office is in London and any general inquiries should be directed to
434-2711.
Southwest Middlesex has fire protection from
two stations within Southwest Middlesex, one being in Glencoe and one being
in Wardsville. We also receive assistance from outside fire departments
through Mutual Aid and other servicing agreements. We also provide
reciprocal services outside Southwest Middlesex
Hydro Services
Southwest Middlesex does not look after the supply of
hydro to the Municipality. This service was sold to Hyrdo One in 2001. If
you have a question concerning your hydro billing, please call Hydro One at
1-877-550-8627 (Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) or if you have a question
concerning a water heater rental, please call them at 1-800-664-3377 (Monday
to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.)

Services
Southwest Middlesex
has an after hours emergency number for any problems relating to water
services (ie. watermain break, low pressure) or road problems (ie. tree down
on road, caved-in portion of road). Any non-emergency matters should be
directed to the Public Works Manager at (519)287-2015, extension 119.
