For your safety, Southwest
Middlesex Parking
By-law No. 6/2004 was passed by the
municipal council on July 7, 2004. The
parking by-law will also help us to keep the streets free of snow and debris
so that you can travel in safer conditions. Our work is started during
the night or early in the morning hours and having the streets clear of
vehicles and obstructions assists us in giving you the best service
possible.
Signs are posted at the entrances into the
municipality along the main thoroughfares. Fines are payable at the municipal office
within 15 days from the issue date of the ticket. Fines are collected under
The Provincial Offences Act, R.S.O. 1990,
so be aware that if you do not pay the fine or if you do not pay within the
15 days allowed, the municipality must forward your ticket for payment
through the courts. Unpaid charges will appear
on your Ministry of Transportation record and will remain so until paid.
The municipality wants to work with you to
make Southwest Middlesex a safer place to stop and to shop. If you
have any concerns about parking or other security issues, please contact us. Enforcement
